Handover of Rugby kit to Adelaide Gymnasium Technical School
In addition to sponsoring individuals who are selected as Eqstra ambassadors, Eqstra has sponsored Adelaide Gymnasium for the past 8 years with various equipment to assist in the teaching of technical subjects. This year the sponsorship extended to sponsoring the first rugby team with kit. Various team members modelled the kit as it has evolved over the years before launching the new rugby kit for 2013 at a function on 19 July.

Walter Hill inspires the Grade 10 Business study learners at Adelaide Gymnasium
The Business studies teacher of Grade 10 learners seized the opportunity while Walter Hill was visiting in the area and requested that he addressed the 3 classes to encourage them to make the most of the opportunity to learn what they can about business practices, whilst still at school. They had the opportunity to ask questions on how to prepare themselves for the world of work, as well as find out what Walter Hill’s recipe for success is.
Handover of Equipment to Winterberg Agricultural school
Eqstra sponsors bursary students and assists several schools with equipment to assist them to generate revenue for the smooth running of the school. On 19 July Eqstra executives handed over a tractor, trailer and rake to Winterberg Agricultural school. Walter Hill, CEO of Eqstra, Eugene Jonker GM of the Agricultural business and Andre van Vuuren, Principal of Winterberg are pictured here with some of the learners and the school ground staff.

Visit to Bedford Country School
Eqstra assists three learners at the Bedford Country School so that they can get a good start from an educational point of view. On Friday 19 July each child presented their portfolio to Walter Hill, Eqstra CEO which included their progress reports. The pre-primary and primary learners entertained the visiting executives with several songs as well as a recorder recital. The visitors were treated to a video which showcased the activities of learners throughout the year and they were shown around the historic premises of this Eco school.
