“Utyalo Mali” or “Investing for the Future” – was the powerful business message of Toyota Industrial Equipment at the opening of its newly renovated Port Elizabeth premises in the Eastern Cape, South Africa on Wednesday 18 January 2017. With a Xhosa theme indicative of Toyota Industrial Equipment’s commitment to investing in and uplifting the communities of the Eastern Cape, the event was attended by Mr Toshifumi Onishi, Senior Managing Officer of Toyota Industries Corporation & President of Toyota Material Handling International, as well as leading local business people and Toyota Industrial Equipment clients.

Part of EIE Group, Toyota Industrial Equipment opened its Port Elizabeth branch in 1984 to provide the local industrial sector with ease of access to its comprehensive range of Toyota Forklifts, as well as maintenance and spares support “on the doorstep”. The company has supplied to date more than 5,000 machines, mainly to the automotive, industrial, agricultural, fast moving consumer goods, warehousing and transport sectors.
