Eqstra Industrial Equipment continuously identify, assess, and manage environmental risks associated with our operations and products throughout their lifecycle in order to reduce or eliminate adverse consequences.  We are guided by the principles of reduction, re-use and recycling in order to achieve our goals. The sustainability platform provides an opportunity for us to be operationally innovative, and at the same time apply best practice

Eqstra recognises the importance of Broadbased Black Economic Empowerment and the benefits it holds to not only previously disadvantaged individuals, but also the development of sustainable growth. Eqstra recognises and fully supports the principles of transformation.  We recognize that our employees are our greatest asset and in order to continue to transform South African society we will continue to invest in and empower our employees and other Eqstra stakeholders. The DTI scorecard is the main mechanism used to measure transformation, however as transformation is a business philosophy, it is embraced in all areas within the organization.

Eqstra Holdings is a Black Empowered company with 25.54% BEE shareholding.  Furthermore, Eqstra has 7.91% Black Women shareholding, which is included in the 25.54% BBBEE shareholding.  We are currently a level 3 contributor towards Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and have strategies in place to constantly improve this rating.
